We, the undersigned citizens of Mizoram, call upon the Mizoram Legislative Assembly to revoke its August 2025 resolution adopting the Forest Conservation Amendment Act (FCAA) 2023.
Article 371G exists to protect Mizoram's right to decide matters concerning our land and forests. By using this provision to adopt a central law that hands control to Central govt., the Assembly has weakened the very protection meant to safeguard us.
We did not consent to this. We demand it be reversed.
